Ever wonder why it is so hard to get evidence-based practices into routine clinical care?  Implementation scientists did as well, and so they created a field.  Implementation science is the scientific study of methods to promote the systematic uptake of research findings and other evidence-based practices into routine practice to improve the quality and effectiveness of health services.  Join us as we speak to Deena Costa, PhD, RN, Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at the University of Michigan, as we discuss her implementation science work in the Critical Care setting.
